Infant Program

Welcome to Great Adventures Learning Center!

Great Adventures Learning Center offers infant and toddler programs for little ones who are six weeks to 18 months and 18 months to 36 months. Each infant is born curious and motivated to learn. All children come into the world temperamentally different from each other, thus, they need to be treated differently. The infant is dependent on close, caring, ongoing relationships as the source of developmental growth. An infant learns most of how he or she thinks and feels by imitating behaviors around him. In order to provide the best possible care for your infant, we feel it's important for us to work as a team. You the parent and dedicated staff both bring valuable dimensions to your child's development. With mutual respect and clear communication, your child's growth at Great Adventures Learning Center can be a happy and rewarding experience.

Our Program
Great Adventures Learning Center inc. is much more than just a day care center, your “little one” will start his or her learning adventure with us. Babies feel safe, secure, and happy in their classroom. Nurturing, caring teachers bond and develop trust with you and your little one. Our infant room offers a warm, secure location where your infant will receive personal individualized attention and care. We have created a “purposeful play” curriculum to foster the daily development of infant minds and bodies. We will work with you to make the transition a smooth and happy experience, creating a strong bond and an environment that feels like home.

  • Safety is our first priority
    • We know what it takes to keep infants safe, so you can feel sound. It starts with paying attention to every detail—big and small. Every day at our center, you can be confident that your infant is in the very best hands.
  • Teachers who care
    • We hire dedicated teachers. They do more than teach—they nurture every infant, paying attention to everyone’s unique needs. At Great Adventures, your infant will find teachers who believe in them, and give them the confidence to try new things and make new friends.
  • Early Education
    • Education is more than knowledge. It’s about helping infants develop the social and emotional skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives. Our “purposeful play” curriculum specifically addresses the developmental needs of growing infants. Each day is packed with carefully designed activities structured around the six main development areas. Your infant will be discovering things using all five senses, copying simple actions of the people around them, experimenting with toy instruments, exploring textures, colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through playing with other infants each day.

Our Infant/Toddler Philosophy
Great Adventures Learning Center understands that the early years are a critical time for learning and social development. Babies grow and learn every day. Our philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our ”Purposeful play” Infant curriculum is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning. At Great Adventures our infants are cared for in a warm, loving, infant-only environment. Your infant's primary needs will be met according to his/her routine.
